The Great American Trailer Park Musical
Audition Dates: May 1st & 3rd
BroadStreet Theatre Company will hold auditions for the Off-Broadway smash hit, The Great American Trailer Park Musical on Thursday, May 1st at 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 3rd at 3 p.m. Auditions will be held at North Side Christian Church, located at 5555 Larimore Avenue (two blocks north of 56th and Ames Ave.). Production staff includes Daena Schweiger, director; Keefer Peterson, music director; Patrick Roddy, choreographer; and Mary Carrick, producer.
The show, to be staged July 11-27 at the Bellevue Little Theatre, calls for five women and two men. Those auditioning should prepare two contrasting selections of 16 bars each (one ballad and one up-tempo) and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided (please no pre-recorded music or a cappella auditions). The audition will also consist of movement and cold readings from the script. Those auditioning may be asked to sing from the score individually and/or in small groups.
Please also bring a complete list of scheduled commitments for the months of May, June, and July. Conflicts will be taken into consideration when casting.
